Re: Family Members. I believe that Orange Clark and Alvin Clark are brothers, not one person. The grave marker here only shows the name Alvin. The Federal Census for 1850 through 1880 all show only the name Alvin. My ancestor, Orange Clark, b. abt 1802 in Broome County, NY and died in 1833 in Illinois was supposedly the son of John Jay Clark. this suggestion repeats for Orange Alvin Clark.
