Wilton Bailey Jr.
WINONA - Services for Wilton Bailey Jr., 55, of Winona, who died of heart failure Thursday, March 27, 2003, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, were at 4 p.m. Saturday at Winona First Baptist Church.
Mr. Bailey owned Southern Coffee Co. and was the former owner of Bailey Ford-Mercury in Winona.
Born in Leflore County, Mr. Bailey graduated from John Rundle High School in Grenada. He was a past member of the Exchange Club, the Rotary Club and the Masonic Lodge in Grenada. He was also a member of First Baptist Church in Winona.
Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Lynn Bailey.
He is survived by two daughters, Wendy Bailey Golding and Cindy Bailey Ashmore, both of Grenada; two sons, Jason Wilton Bailey of Vicksburg and Chadwick Hunter Bailey of Oxford; three sisters, Marie McLauchlin of Kosciusko, Thelma Inman of Grenada and Mary Thompson of Memphis; two brothers, James Bailey of Holcomb and John Bailey of Grenada; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was at Lee Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday.
The Rev. John L. Walker officiated at the services. Burial was in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County.
Pallbearers were Joe McDaniel, Tommy Bartholomew, Dr. W.A. Middleton, Jerry Butler, Clay Brooks and Ryan Mason.
