Lawrence B. Baker
Lawrence B. Baker, 55, of Chicago formerly of Winona, died of complications from diabetes at his residence Wednesday, April 10, 1996.
Funeral services were held for Mr. Baker, who was a laboratory technician, at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Campbell Hill Baptist Church in Winona with the Rev. L.V. Powell officiating. Interment was in Hayes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery near Winona.
Mr. Baker is survived by one son, Lues Rostram of Guayama; his step-mother, Margaret Baker of Winona; eight brothers, Roy Baker, Arthur Baker, Charlie Baker, all of Detroit, Clarence Bibbs of Hammond, Indiana, Thurmond Bibbs, Arthur E. Bibbs, both of Winona, Ado Small of Brandon and Dewitt Charles Baker of Alpharetta, Georgia; and five sisters, Juanita Butts, Shirley McCray, Bessie Baker, all of Winona, Patricia Autry of Holly Springs, and Evelyn Lampkin of Sturgis.
