FLOYD “DUCK” BRYANT, 76, of Royston, GA, husband of Ruby Hart Bryant, died
Saturday, February 8, 1986, at Athens General Hospital.
Born in Franklin County, GA, he was a son of the late Jacob & Ida Mae Smith
Bryant. He was a merchant, a retired employee of Singer Furniture Company and a
member of Middle River Baptist Church.
Surviving are widow; daughter, Mrs. Patricia B. Hall of Carnesville; stepson,
Milton Hickman of Royston; brothers, Omer, Simon and James M. Bryant of
Carnesville; sister, Mrs. Monteen York of Easley, SC; 4 grandchildren and 3
great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday, February 10, at Trinity United Methodist Church by Rev.
Charles
Davis, Rev. Cranford Carnes, and Rev. Odell Hart. Burial in the church
cemetery.
