Mr. Earl Arrowood, age 81, of Newport, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012, at his home.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his son Earl Arrowood Junior. He is survived by his wife Ann Arrowood, sons and daughters-in-law Dwayne Earl and Belinda Arrowood, Mark Stanley and Joni Arrowood, and William Paul and Leslie Arrowood, daughter and son-in-law Crystal Arrowood Oliver and Roger Oliver, brothers Jack Arrowood, Leslie Arrowood, and W.C. "Sam" Arrowood sister Gracie Jean Mooneyham, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews, many friends, and also his favorite pet and traveling buddy LuAnn.
Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Delmar Williamson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Union Cemetery for the 10:00 interment service. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home, prior to the service.
