Randall L. Engle, 61, of Leaf River died Monday, Oct. 17, 2011 at home, surrounded by family. He was born Aug. 14, 1950, in Delaplaine, Ark., son of Lester Engle and Ruth Williford. Randy married Patricia J. Croft on Dec. 22, 1969 in Clinton, Iowa. Randy worked for many years at Engle Mfg. Co. He retired from the Rock Island (Ill.) Arsenal, as a machinist. He was a life member of Mount Morris Moose Lodge 1551 and life member of International Legion Northwest 57. Randy was a six-year Moose Loyal Order Ritualist and a seven-year Legion Ritualist. He was a word judge for the Illinois Moose Ritual staff competition for 25 years. Randy was an eight year Cub Scout Cub Master and a two year Boy Scout leader in Rock Island. Randy's hobbies included repairing computers and automobiles.

Survivors include wife, Patricia; sons, Gregery and Freeland "Bill" daughter, Robin; grandchildren, Zachary and Emily, Patricia Lou , Jasmine and Skylar, & Jackson ; siblings, Jeff and Janice.

Predeceased by parents; and three brothers, Ronald, Larry and Bruce Engle. Funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon, Ill., with the Rev. David W. Poust officiating. Burial in Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, concluding with rituals by the Moose Lodge at 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for the National Kidney Foundation and American Diabetes Association .
