48, of Joliet. Passed away suddenly on December 26, 2008. He was born in Mexico on August 24, 1960 to Emilio and Guadalupe Arce, who preceded him in death.
Chonito is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Alma Arce; his loving children, Alma Guadalupe and Eduardo Arce; his siblings, Joe (Sandy) Arce of Tulia, TX, Estella Arce-Salinas of Panhandle, TX, Lilia (Jose Luis) Cardenas of Amarillo, TX, Delia Arcos of Dimmitt, TX and Emilio Arce Jr. of Dimmitt, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews; his half-sisters, Maria Elena (Pedro) Torres and Socorro (Salvador) Saucedo; and many cousins, aunts, uncles and wonderful friends.
Chonito graduated high school and enlisted in the United States Marines Corps. He served his country proudly for eight years and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. Chonito loved life and all of its blessings and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home, Plainfield, on Monday, December 29, 3:00 until 8:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 30, 10:00 AM at St Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 South Route 59, Plainfield. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, with full military honors. OVERMAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME
