Willis S. Busby the son of Augustus and Mary Busby.
Willis was first married on May 4, 1912 in Madison County, Indiana to a Ruby E. Sparrow. His second marriage was to a Hazel Fernung who was born in 1891 and died on July 31, 1925, Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana.
Willis was killed in an accident at Converse about 8 o'clock this morning when the truck he was driving was hit by a train. Willis resided on a farm northwest of Kokomo and had planned to go to Converse today to meet Silas Busby, a cousin and his wife, who were coming to live with him.
Willis Busby resided west of Anderson his entire life, and was well known. He farmed with his father, Gus Busby, west of here, until about a year ago, when he went to Kokomo to reside on a farm northwest of that city. In July of 1925 his wife, Hazel Busby, died at Kokomo. A baby girl Jeanette Lee Busby born to them a short time before their death survived.
