ALLEY -Jerry Lee Jr., 12, of Interlachen, died Monday, May 29, 2000 in Interlachen. He was a native of Arcadia, FL and had lived in Interlachen for the past 21/2 years, coming from Desoto County, FL. He was completing the 6th grade at C.H. Price Middle School in Interlachen where he was a member of the Poke'mon Club, the Soccer Team and the Beginning Band of C.H. Price Middle School. He had received the Student of the Month Award in February for the 6th Grade and was also honored with the Most Improved Beginning Band Member Award. He was also in the Cub Scouts for 3 years. He is survived by his adopted Parents/Grandparents, Marvin R. & Anne M. Alley of Interlachen; his father, Jerry Lee Alley Sr.; 1 brother, Marvin James Alley of Interlachen; uncle, Carl Alley of Avon Park, FL; great-grandmother, Esther Marshall of Melbourne; great aunts & spouses, Joan Marshall, Dale Marshall & Carole & Mike Townsend, all of Melbourne; great uncles & spouses, John & Cathy Marshall, and Patrick Bragdon, all of Melbourne, Martius Alley of Oakland Park, FL; great-great uncle: Rev. Lloyd McClelland. Memorial services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday June 3, 2000 at the C.H. Price Middle School with Rev. Gene Maddox and Rev. Lloyd McClelland, along with other religious leaders and school members officiating.
