Kenneth "Ken" Leroy Dillon of Clinton, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial service will be held Tuesday April 21, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at Vansant-Mills Funeral Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Visitation will take place two hours prior to service. With a private family inurnment. Memorial contributions can be made to Kenneth L. Dillon Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Kenneth Leroy Dillon, age 50 years, was born February 26, 1965 in Windsor, Missouri. The oldest son of Leroy and Sharon Miller Dillon. He graduated from Lincoln R-2 School, he attended State Fair Community College and later received a degree in Psychology from Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri.
Radio and music was the love of his life, he never wanted to pursue any other career. He began his first DJ. career at the age of 14, working with KAYQ in Warsaw, Missouri. His work moved to other cities, California, Mo., Cape Girardeau, Mo., Sedalia, Mo. and Clinton, Mo.. Clinton was his favorite area, he loved the Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, Old Glory Days committee, and numerous other community events. Throughout his career he became personal friends with many musicians, and entertained many in his own time.
He was united in marriage to Nancy Smith in 1985. Unto this union two children were born, Matthew Jeffery and Amanda Jo. In 1991 he married Darla Burchell French, and they were proud to adopt daughter, Hannah Jane. She was the first open adoption in Henry County, Missouri. Kenneth was a member of the United Methodist Church where he was
Baptized January 19, 1986 by Rev. Robert Howard.

He was preceded in death by his Father Leroy, December, 2014.

Among survivors are his mother Sharon Dillon of Clinton, Missouri, Sister Nadine Soles of Lamonte, Brother Kyle Dillon (Annie) of Clinton, Three Children, Matthew Jeffrey of Nebraska, Amanda Jo of Belton, and Hannah Jane of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Two Grandsons, Alan James Buren and Robert Leroy Peterson, Two Nieces and his Soul Mate and Best Friend Rebekah Cloud and other Relatives and many Friends.
