AKA Jean Henri Fortineux II.

Immigrated in 1730 to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania he was 22 years of age, came on board "Thistle" arriving August 29th.

Married 1735 at Monocacy Montgomery County, Maryland.

Him and his wife had a total of seven children.

Parents were Jean Henri and Renata (Spohn) Fortineux.

pg. 2 Col 3, July 12, 1753.

Was struck by lighting out side of his home about 4 miles from town. Two children were also struck but soon recovered that had been near by him. He was killed due to he was leaning on his gate. Said to have had no marks on his body, only his long beard was singed.
