Steven Darryl Booker, 38, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and formerly of Gladstone, died Oct. 4 at Myrtle Beach. He was the son of Robert Abbitt and the late Luvenia Abbitt.
He is survived by his father, Robert Abbitt, of Lynchburg; one sister, Teresa Napier, of Appomattox; one brother, R. Abbitt and wife, Priscilla, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; his grandmother, Odessa Booker of Gladstone; one nephew, De'Andre Booker; a devoted friend, Lisa Gibbs, her children and grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Oct. 10 at the chapel of Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Brookneal. Interment was in the Mt. Airy Baptist Church Cemetery in Gladstone.
