MACARTEA, Chester May 20, 1916 Mariposa Gazette Charles MACARTEA of Groveland, and well known in this county, was shot and killed by Dan SULLIVAN, at the Sulivan ranch, near Groveland, on Wednesday evening of last week. Numerous quarrels during the day, caused by excessive drinking, led to the killing.
