Christopher Asbill also well known as "J.D." passed this life on December 23, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Stilwell, Oklahoma on June 9, 1940 to Columbus and Bonnie (Riggs) Asbill. J.D. received his early education and was raised in Stilwell, Oklahoma until he moved to Wagoner in 1992. Most of his life he worked in construction and was a Dozer operator. He had a passion for working on lawnmowers, chainsaws and tinkering with all types of cars. One of his favorite past times was watching Friday night wrestling. J.D. is preceded in death by his parents Columbus and Bonnie, two sisters Charlene and Freda. He is survived by his wife Janice Asbill of Wagoner, Oklahoma. Two sons Brad Asbill and wife Jeannie of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Randy Asbill of Wagoner, Oklahoma. One daughter Cindy Norman. of Wagoner, Oklahoma. Six brothers Jack Mitchell of Wagoner, L.D. Asbill and wife Nancy of Glenco, Oklahoma, Frank Asbill and wife Debbie of Hennessee, Oklahoma, Albert Asbill of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Carlas Asbill of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Cordell Asbell of Wagoner, Oklahoma. Two sisters Carleen Armstrong of Padre Island, Texas and Christine Brake of Enterprise, Oklahoma. Five grandchildren Jerimie Walls, Jonathan Norman, Kathleen Norman, Scott Asbill and Christopher Asbill and three great grandchildren Hayden, Olivia and Alyssa, He will be greatly missed by a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Shipman Funeral Home Chapel burial followed to Pioneer Cemetery officiated by Reverend Jeff Wooten services were conducted by Shipman Funeral Home & Crematory.
