Lewis Warren Davison was born in Tazewell County, near Delavan, Illinois. the son of Aaron and Susan Davison on October 9, 1876. He died May 5. 1942 at the age of 65 years, 6 months and 27 days.
In early childhood he moved from Illinois with his parents to Comanche County, Kansas. At the age of 12 years, he made the run into Oklahoma with his parents in 1889. They homesteaded a farm one mile south and 1.5 miles west of Columbia. He made that his home with the exception of seven years which he spent in the service of the Frisco railroad company at Enid,
He was married to Maud Alice Moore, Dee. 23, 1896 at Perry, Oklahoma. To this union 7 children were born. Two children preceded him in death Ada, and Violet.
He Is survived by two daughters and three sons. They are Mrs. Lew Stalder, Wickett, Tex.; Mrs. Clifford Dunham, Crescent; Robert Loyd Davison, Skelly Town, Texas; P. F. C. Lewis Warren Davison, Balboa, Canal Zone; Durrill Gene Davison, Pampa, Texas; also, five grandsons and six granddaughters. One slater, Mrs. Elizabeth Powell. Alvin, Texas; and three brothers; Criss Davison. Lovell; Gene Davison, Crescent; John Davison, Guthrie.
