T.A. Allen, 87, of Sulphur, died May 6 at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were May 8 at Fox Funeral Chapel with Reverend Eugene Snow and Reverend Jim House officiating. Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery with Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Allen was born November 11, 1902 at Wynnewood and lived in this area most all of his life. He married Opal Castleberry on December 10, 1981 at Sulphur. He was affililiated with Assembly of God; and had worked at Falls Creek in maintenance.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two step-daughters, Faye Hook, Mannsville, and Dorothy Young of Sulphur, eight step-sons, L.A. Payne, Sulphur, Joe Payne, Mill Creek, Jim Payne, Shawnee, Lee Payne, Ardmore, John and Warren of Boonsville, AR, and David and Gene Payne, Davis; several nieces and nephews including Rosa Martin, Lille Mae and Babs Shockley, Glenna Pierce, Nora Boyd, John and Floyd Boyd; several other step children; several step grandchildren including James Jackson; and several step great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were David, Billy and Jess Clary, James Jackson, Curtis Dilbeck and Dennis Cottrell.
