Evelyn Augusta Evrard, 81, of Townsend died at Wausau Medical Center unexpectedly on January 17, 1999.
Evelyn was born near Waupaca, WI on September 20, 1917, the daughter of Leonard and Augusta (Adams) Fenn. She was a lifelong resident of Townsend where she was a real estate broker for over 40 years. She just recently retired. She enjoyed sharing many activities with her family and friends and had varied interests. She was a "rock hound' using her findings in custom made jewelry for Ev's Rock Pit. She was an avid bird watcher and loved to fish, garden and to be out of doors. She was known for her fondness and care of the many deer that frequented her yard. Evelyn was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Townsend and various realtor professional organizations.

She is survived by three children: Eugene (Lea) Evrard, Townsend, Jerrie (Russell) Jacobus, Fond du Lac, Joseph Evrard, Coquille, OR; one daugh- ter-in-law, Kathleen Evrard, Neenah, WI; two brothers, Lawrence Fenn, Townsend, Byron (Midge) Penn, Livermore, CA; 10 grandchildren, three great-grand- children, seven step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son James, and a sister, Eleanor Zimdars.
