Funeral Dirctor Warren, Indiana
29 Nov 1897 Casket for Eliza Buckland, died Friday 25th at her daughter's, Mrs. A.L.Christman's home which is 3 miles sout east of Warren. Joseph Cole came in our store Saturday 27th and told us the kind of casket that was wanted. Sunday morning we went to house with hearse. Ira Brown got grey team from Wilson's Livery. William Throp went with me, being an old frien of the deceased. When we arrived at the house our friend John Cloud being a son-in-law and used to be an undertaker but sold out. The funeral was conducted at the Church by Rev. Bunday. Burial was in the Batson Cemetery. It was a cool day.
