BARGERSVILLE ~ Lincoln McClain and wife of Indianapolis was down this week to attend the funeral of Mrs. McClain’s mother, Mrs. Joseph List.
Died at her home in Bargersville, on Sunday morning at 2:30 o’clock, Nancy J., wife of Joseph List. Mrs. List was forty years of age and is the mother of four living children, two girls and two boys, the youngest being four years old and afflicted with the spinal disease. Mrs. List’s death was brought on my measles which settled on her lungs, causing much pain until the icy hands of death was placed upon her. She was a loving mother, a good wife and was a friend to everyone who knew her. She was also a member of the Bargersville Christian church and a good worker. We regret to lose so good a neighbor and sister-in-Christ. We owe our sympathy to the bereaved family. The remains were interred in the Bargersville cemetery.
