Frances "Chickie" Ascatigno

Chickie Ascatigno , a homemaker for 45 years, died at Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center. She was 65.
The native of Pittsburg was a lifelong Concord resident. She was a member of Italian Catholic Federation and Catholic Charities Auxiliary, and was a Loaves and Fishes volunteer. She enjoyed travel, cooking and volunteering at Queen of All Saints Church.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Frank; daughters, Joanne Bledsoe of Concord, Susan Ascatigno of Richmond, and Lisa Madigan and Pam Ascatigno , both of Concord; sons, Lou Ascatigno , Mark Bledsoe and Frank Madigan, all of Concord; father, Tom Dimaggio of Concord; sister, Rose Marie Wolf of Concord; and 11 grandchildren.
Services: Visitation 6-7 p.m. with 7 p.m. vigil Thursday at Queen of All Saints Church in Concord. Funeral liturgy 10 a.m. Friday at the church, followed by church reception and burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette. Arrangements by Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel.
