Charles William Biaggi, 59, died Aug. 15, 1994, at MWMC in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Mr. Biaggi was born in San Francisco to James Peter and Flora (Ciapusci) Biaggi.
He was raised in Manchester, CA, and later graduated from Point Arena High School,Point Arena, CA in 1952. He attended Napa Junior College where he participated in
the football program. He later accepted a scholarship to play football with Cal Poly College. Mr. Biaggi also attended U.C. Berkeley and then graduated from U.C.
Davis with a bachelor's degree in zoology.
In 1958, he was employed as a sheep buyer by Valley Livestock Marketing Association in Dickson, Calif. Mr. Biaggi married Peggy J. Nevin June 28, 1959 in Davis, Calif. While still employed, he entered the U.S. Air Force Reserve where he served as a tower operator until his honorable discharge.
In 1962 he was employed as a field man and livestock appraiser by the California Livestock Production Credit Association in Sacramento, Calif.
He and his wife joined with Tom and Pat Veneable in partnership in 1974 to purchase half of the Swan Lake Ranch. They also ran cattle in Paskenta, Calif. during winter months. Bill and Peggy Biaggi sold the ranch in 1992 and moved to Langell Valley in 1993. Mr. Biaggi continued to take an active role in the management of the cattle ranch. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and also was an avid baseball fan.
He was a member of the National Cattleman's Association, the Oregon and California Cattleman's Association, B.P.O. Elks Lodge #1247, N.R.A. and the Klamath County Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy J. Biaggi of Bonanza; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Kim Biaggi of Dairy; daughters and sons-in-law, Jenine and Antone Coelho of Fort Klamath, Antoinette and Greg Herman of Tulelake and Calli Biaggi of Bonanza, grandchildren, Sarah and Zachary Biaggi of Dairy, Cash and Candra Coelho of Fort
Klamath, Ore., and Ethan Herman of Tulelake; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Don Fraser of Manchester, Calif., Catherine and Herb Richardson of Corning, Calif.,
and Marie Disotelle of Point Arena, Calif; brothers and sisters-in-law, Russell and Margarette Biaggi of Manchester, Calif., Louis and Markee Biaggi of Manchester,
Calif. and Una Biaggi of Humboldt, Neb.; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom and Penny Lassett of Klamath Falls.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Biaggi and his parents.
