Born in Ekaterinoslav, Russia-Ukraine to parents Edgar and Rivka Belitsky. Immigrated to the U.S. in 1909. Father of Arnold, Milton, and Daniel. Served in the U.S. Army as Supply Sargent, Company G, 346th Infantry Regiment, 87th Infantry Division during World War I in France. Married Regina Zimbler in 1919. Co-founder of the Bellis Paper Company with his brothers Joe, Jack, and Leon. Grandpa to six grandchildren.
