Charles graduated from McDonogh School and attended the former Maryland Institute of Fine Arts School. In 1987 he was inducted into the McDonogh Athletic Hall of Fame.
Mr. Aschemeier served in the Marine Corps during World War II as an aerial photographer and was honorably discharged as a corporal.
He worked for 30 years at Westinghouse Electric Corp as a manager of business systems and program control; retiring in 1983.
