ADNAN "EDDIE" ALADRAY - Born: Feb. 16, 1931 Passed Away: May 12, 2012 Eddie born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan to Lebanese immigrants and a proud graduate of Fordson High School. Resided by Lake Hodges, California and survived by his wife Marlene, sons Rodger and Richard, daughter-in-law Angelique (to Rodger), grandsons Riley Adnan and Korey Rodger, brother Nazeah "Al" and sister-in-law Josephine, sister Mary Dawud and many loved nieces and nephews. Eddie will be remembered as a great athlete in high school, college and throughout his life. He was proud of his service to his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. After the Marines, he worked for Ford Lincoln-Mercury in Michigan while continuing his education. While working at Ford's, he married Marlene and had his first son Rodger. Eddie and his family were transferred to Ford Philco Aeronutronics in Newport Beach, CA and have lived in California since. Marlene and Eddie left Ford and went into the Appliance business in the city of Orange, CA and a few years later moved to San Diego to open A.N.A photo & Appliance center with brother Nazeah "Al" and Josephine. In the 1980's Eddie became heavily involved in the Mexican-American Foundation and was very honored to be appointed as Chairman of the Board. During that same time period, A.N.A grew to five locations and Eddie was involved in many endeavors including the Salvation Army and other local charities before his retirement in 1994. Eddie and Marlene spent time living in Palm Springs and eventually moved back to the San Diego area in 2009 to be close to their newly born grandson Riley. Eddie never forgot his roots and his many friends. His house and home were always open to old and new friends and family. He made whoever he was with feel that they were the center of the world and left his imprint on all. Eddie took pleasure and delight in traveling to different parts of the world always taking along family and friends. He will be deeply missed. Service Tuesday, May 15th, at 1 p.m. at El Camino Memorial- Sorrento Valley Chapel, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92121, (858) 453-2121.
