Services for Tonia Rachelle Carpenter, 20 were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Red Bird with Reverend Rosa Payne officiating. Burial was in Red Bird Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Sourie, Jr. Michael Harris, Dwayne Easily, Marvin Stewart, Ernest Marshall and Earnest Porter. Miss Carpenter died Saturday, November 4, 1978, in Tulsa.

Survivors include her mother, Gladys Reynolds Bizzell; a daughter, Kia Nichole Sanders; two sisters, ReDonna Carpenter, a student at Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, and Kimberly Bizzell of the home; three brothers, Gerald, Cory, and Christopher, all of the home; her father Leroy Carpenter of Kansas City, Kansas, and her grandparents, Mrs. Jeanetta Carpenter and Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Reynolds, Jr., all of Red Bird.
