Early Life: Louise was born October 12, 1925, in Millcreek, Utah, to Carl Ernest and Anna Bargaehr Rohbock. After graduating from Lincoln High School in Orem, Louise attended Brigham Young University, where she studied architecture.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On January 12, 1949, Louise was sealed to John Franklin Adams in the Salt Lake Temple. They had seven children: Vicki, Heather, Jonene, Kyle, Lana Ellie, Lori Ann and Todd. She lived in Orem and Provo most of her life in the shadow of her beautiful and most loved Mount Timpanogos. Louise demonstrated many exemplary qualities throughout her life. She demonstrated her faith by serving in many positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served three missions: Eastern Canada Toronto in 1946; as a Stake Missionary with her husband, John; and together they served in the Florida Tampa Mission in 1984. Louise dearly enjoyed her children and family. Education and professional training was always important to her for her family. She shared her many talents generously, creating patterns and sewing everything from elegant draperies to clothing and quilts. Gardening, preserving food, landscaping, flower arranging and baking were among her hobbies. Louise was a master practitioner of needlepoint, knitting, crochet and painting from canvas to colorful dish towels right to the end. She loved beautiful music and instilled that love in her children; she also loved to dance with her sweetie. They enjoyed many happy times together while teaching others to dance. Louise had a knack for spicing life up by taking a sincere interest in championing others. She was a wonderful mother who loved and served her family, supporting their dreams and goals. She had a soft, caring, and sensitive nature, especially regarding spiritual matters. On November 4, 2014, Louise Rohbock Adams passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 89. She had been residing in Sterling, Virginia.
