Josephine Verbanatz Adams, 82, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007, in Payson, Utah. She was born July 12, 1925, in Butte, Montana, to Peter Paul & Marjorie Horne Verbanatz. She married Thomas Eldon Adams, January 26, 1945, in Butte, Montana. They were sealed June 26, 1946, in the Salt Lake Temple. Tom passed away August 5, 1999.

Josephine was a loving homemaker. Her love and service to others will always be remembered. Josephine loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings including homemaking leader in Relief Society, visiting teacher, 27 years in the Primary, and did much genealogy.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Dan) Breinholt, Orem; Susan Hunter (Carl) Willes, Springville, Kevin (Gerri) Adams, Springville and Debbie Jo (Ondre) Pettingill, Springville . She has 18 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren, a brother Tom Verbanatz, Orem, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Marjorie, a son Terry Adams and a brother Peter James.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2007, at 11 a.m. in the Orchard 3rd Ward Chapel, 800 East 600 North, Orem. Family and friends may visit Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem and Thursday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be held in the Orem City
Cemetery.
