Rose Marie Parker Adamson, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, returned to her Father in Heaven on May 15, 2011, passing away of complications from diabetes at her home in Lehi, Utah surrounded by her husband and family.

She was born April 12, 1935 in Tintic Junction, Utah to Frank Julian Parker and Jessie LaVerne Fox Parker. She was raised in Eureka and Lehi, graduating from Lehi High School in 1953. She was a cheerleader both at Tintic and Lehi High Schools. She married Blaine Walter Adamson of Lehi on December 11, 1953 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Marie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served faithfully in the Relief Society, Young Women, Primary, and as a visiting teacher all of her life. She especially loved her service as a Blazer B teacher for many years. She was still serving as a Relief Society visiting teacher at the time of her passing, not only visiting her assigned families but also others she had grown to love. She was a caregiver throughout her life and a loving, charitable and compassionate person providing special care for many years to her grandparents, her parents, and her brother until their passing.

Her priority in life was always her family, serving and loving them above all else. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved sports and could be found attending as many grandchildren's ball games as she could until ill health prevented her from doing so.

She was owner and hair stylist at the Style Art Beauty Salon in Lehi from 1972 until retirement in 2001, serving her clients with professionalism and care.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Carol Ann Adamson, a son Bart W. Adamson, a brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Phyllis Parker, and sister Donna Parker. She is survived by her husband Blaine; children Kay B. (Annette) Adamson, Lehi; Jill Marie (Jeffrey) Fraughton, American Fork; Jennifer (Chad) Hall, Pleasant Grove; Melissa Adamson, Lehi; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers Lee (Janice) Parker, Cedar City; Ralph Parker, Murray; Glen (Elizabeth "Betty") Parker, Lehi.

A viewing will be held at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, on Thursday evening, May 19, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011 in the Wines Park Chapel, 300 North Center, Lehi, preceded by a viewing from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
