September 10, 1928 – September 29, 2002, Roy "Andy" Anderson, son of Alfred and Ebba Anderson, was born at his parents' home in the foothills above the South shore of Lake Chelan. He attended school in Chelan and was married to Arita Dietrich farm 1948 until she passed away in 1951. Andy married Georgia Edmunds of Manson in 1952.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and, in later years, caring for his beautiful yard. Andy's working life spanned a variety of careers, from Wenoka to Alaska, eventually owning his own bulldozing business in the Seattle area.

Andy passed away surrounded by his family following a four-month battle with cancer. A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife of fifty years, Georgia Anderson, of Alderwood Manor; daughters Kathi Anderson, and Karia Linville; and grandsons Matthew Romero, and Zachery Linville, all of Mill Creek; Mother-in-law Hazel Hodgen of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; brothers and sisters in-law, Mick Edmunds of Costa Rica, Patty and Don McClellan of Chelan, Jackie and Marshall McGuire of Shelton, Gene an Elizabeth Edmunds of East Wenatchee; his many nieces and nephews, as well as his Peterson cousins and large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and uncles and aunts, Francis and Lourice Anderson, Gilbert Anderson, and Reuben "Pete" and Harriet Peterson, among others.

Andy was dearly loved and will deeply missed by all who knew him.

Interment will be at Fraternal Cemetery, Chelan.
