The Logan County native was born March 4, 1930. She was a homemaker and member of New Union Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Chessie M. Rust and Nellie Taylor Rust and the wife of the late Harold Allen.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Friday at Young Funeral Home, Russellville chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include four sons, Ed Allen and Judy of Russellville, Sam Allen and Delores of Ashland City, Tenn., Richard Allen and Donna of Russellville and David Allen and Karen of Tupelo, Miss.; two daughters, Sherry Perry and Steve of Adairville and Denise Williams and Kevin of Morgantown; a sister, Virginia Thompson of Jacksonville, N.C.; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
