Mary Virginia Adams, 87, Henderson, died at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012, under the care of St. Anthony's Lucy Smith King Care Center.

She was a member of United Church of the Nazarene. She was a homemaker and a seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Andrew Adams; one daughter, Gayle Gatten; and her parents, Moseley E. and Lula Jo Sharp.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Ronald Adams of Pocono Lake, Pa., and Gerald Bruce Adams of Henderson; one sister, Joanne Etheridge of Florida; seven grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Keith Griffin will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. until Monday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Adams, Jonathan Adams, James Baker, Eli Jones, Drake Morton and Dylan Morton.
