Birth: unknown
Death: Nov. 19, 2006
Syracuse
Onondaga County
New York, USA

67, of Liverpool, NY, is now finally reunited with all the departed family and animals she has ever loved. This final journey commenced on November 19 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Arleen was a woman of gen-tle compassion and sensitive ways with a very deep love for all God's animals. She was and will forever be a loving, wonderful wife, a great companion and a devoted mate of Martin Fine for almost 50 years; a sister to Dolores Gentile and Gloria Kaiser of Spring Hill, Florida; and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Arleen worked for the N.Y. Bell Telephone System as a switchboard supervisor and operator in Manhattan. While living in New York City, Arleen worked for various exclusive Fifth Avenue fur and interior design and decorating salons as their executive communications director. Arleen was a person who was not a superficial, phoney individual who evaluated and selected an individual just on their looks or their financial status or what they could accomplish for her, but on what she felt was the warmth, tenderness and honesty that she sensed emanated from them. Because of this, her social circle was limited but very choice. Arleen was the type of person who while passing through her life did not accumulate any of the high scholastic letters that are usually added to the end of your name, such as MS or MA or PhD, or helped resolve any national or world issues. She was the type of person who extended herself to the individual and especially to animals. Arleen was not noted for making large waves while traversing through this complex sea of life; only a constant stream of small waves radiated from her being which touched and warmed everyone who had the pleasure of ever knowing her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her husband. Interment will be at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, West Palm Beach, Florida. Birnbaum Funeral Service was in charge of local arrangements. Any donations should be made, in her name, to the animal shelter of your choice.
