Ms. Lorraine T. "Midget" Cook, age 48, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, at McLeod Hospice House following an extended illness.

Born April 9, 1965, in Georgetown, Midget was the daughter of the late Dewey Earl Taylor and the late Doris McKenzie Taylor. She was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and worked as an LPN. Midget loved life and lived it to the fullest, and enjoyed working and being busy at all types of jobs. She loved her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her "moma," Sarah McKenzie Coward; her children, Donna Prosser (Clay), Elizabeth Cook, Michelle Ard, and Beth Evans, all of Johnsonville, and Tina Evans of Lake City; her life-long love, Harry Evans; grandchildren, Rimington Prosser, Kenslie Prosser, Laiklyn Gaskins, Ashlyn Gaskins, Mayson Broach, Scott Ard, and Gavin Fennell; siblings, Carl Coward (Phyllis), Teresa Turner (Raymond) of Johnsonville, Judy Hyder (Donnie) of Flat Rock, NC, Wayne Gerald of Charlotte, NC, Christine Meadors (Don) of Hemingway, Calvin Taylor (Judy) of Georgetown, Lori Taylor Vinson (Andrew) of Myrtle Beach, Timmy Taylor (Marie) of Aynor, and Eddie Taylor (Nancy), Rudy Taylor, and Linda Taylor, all of Wilmington, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Midget was predeceased by her "daddy," William Donald Coward and two brothers, Steven Taylor and William Taylor.

The family will receive friends at Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway on Sunday, April 28, 2013, from 3PM until 5PM. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to McLeod Hospice House, 1203 E. Cheves Street, Florence, SC, 29506.
