Summerton - Memorial services for Dempsey Bruce Davis, 63, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Summerton United Methodist Church. The Rev. Mark Altman will officiate. The family will receive friends at the residence, Rt. 2, Box 1258, Summerton. Stephens Funeral Home, Manning, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Summerton United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 35, Summerton, S.C. 29148. Mr. Davis died Monday at his residence. Born January 10, 1937 in Orangeburg, he was a son of the late Grover H. and Grace Barnes Davis. He was a retired mechanic, a member of Summerton United Methodist Church and an Air Force veteran. Surviving are wife, Jimmie Lou Hutto Davis, Summerton; son, David Wayne Davis, Cordova; daughters, Sharon Elaine Ott, Branchville and Constance Mae Bruner, Pinehill; special friends, B.J.
