Barbara E. Karas Callahan, a lifelong resident of Hull, passed away on Saturday, June 15th, 2013 at the age of 73. She was a graduate of Hingham High School and was employed by the former Lechmere store in Weymouth and most recently was a receptionist at the Norwell BMW auto dealership. Barbara enjoyed line dancing, gardening, crocheting, knitting, sewing, baking and photography. She was the mother of William E. Callahan of Florida, Tammy L. Callahan of Hull and the late Joseph Callahan. Sister of Steven D. Karas of Falmouth, George M. Karas of Taunton, James R. Karas of Arizona and Virginia L. Karas of Hull. Grandmother of Crystal, Danielle, Casey, Timothy and Francesca. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 19th at 11 AM at the Hull Village Cemetery. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request.
