Mr. Felice Amari, 62, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Tuesday, March 9, at his home.

Mr. Amari was born on March 16, 1941, in Palermo, Sicily, Italy, the son of the late Giuseppe and Antonia Cavallaro Amari.

He was a chef at Princeton University, retiring in 1998. He was a member of St. James Church in Trenton, New Jersey and was a veteran of the Italian Army.

Mr. Amari married Anna Amari on July 31, 1965 in Casteltermini, Italy.

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Lori Vindigni of Dundee, Florida and Antonia (Toni) Amari of Stephens City, Virginia; two sons, Guiseppe (Joe) Amari of Gore, Virginia; and Thomas Amari of Winchester, Virginia; two sisters, Josephine Inglina of Palermo, Italy and Rosa Catalano of Trenton, New Jersey; two brothers, Gioacchino Amari of Bordentown, New Jersey and Calogero (Lillo) Amari of Dundee, Florida; and eleven grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Interment will be at Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends at Omps Funeral Home - Amherst Chapel on Friday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. with Rosary at 8:00 p.m.
