Doris Marie Brown, 81, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Tuesday August 6, 2013 at NHC Healthcare in Madisonville.
She was born May 30, 1932 in Tacoma, WA to the late Thaddeus and Vivian Allen Camfield. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Wayman Camfield.
Mrs. Brown was a regular contributor at the Farmers Market and was a member of the Wildflower Club of Madisonville.
She is survived by her husband, John Porter "JP" Brown; three daughters, Laura Brister of Sebree, KY, Wilma Pollard and Judith Shemwell both of Madisonville; two sons, Kenneth Mallory of Madisonville and Tad Mallory of Greenville, SC; one sister, Barbara Emmenegger of Richmond, IN; one brother Wayne Camfield of Travelers, SC; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday August 11, 2013 with Rev. Roger Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until the service time Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Mallory, David Brister, Brandon Mallory, David Harvey, Clint Gipson and Jeffery Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Pollard, Jeffery Pollard and Barry Duncan.
