Graveside services for Geraldine "Jerry" Creel, 83, of Proffitt were held Saturday, Nov. 29, in the Proffitt Cemetery with the Rev. David Edwards of Graham officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
She and W.T. Creel were married on 5 June 1942. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Creel was a lifetime resident of Young County and a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include three sons, Rickey Creel, Kent Creel, Terry Creel; a brother-in-law, Raymond Perry; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
