Graveside services for Nancy Burge Anderson will be held today at 1 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Clinton officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Anderson, 89, of Meridian, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She operated Anderson Furniture and Upholstery and Repair and Anderson Needle Craft. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Meridian.
Survivors include her son, Herschel L. Anderson and his wife, Odet, of Fairhope, Ala.; grandchildren, Kimberly Leigh Marcus of Perdido Key, Fla. and Dennis Keith Anderson and his wife, Mary, of Harvest, Ala; great-grandsons, Kevin and Kyle Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herston O. Anderson; her parents, Ruby Lee Burge and Henry Burge and a sister, Hannah C. Burge.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, (800)227-2345.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Moore, Kenneth Hill, Homer Dozier and Buddy McElroy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lonnie V. Jones and Joe Simms.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
