Domitila "Tillie" Ochoa Redondo, 102 years 364 days, of Prescott and Glendale, Ariz., passed away on May 19, 2007. Tillie was born in Congress Mine, Ariz. on May 20, 1904. She is the last survivor of the Raphael G. Ochoa and Preciliana C. Ochoa family. She went to the little red schoolhouse in Wickenburg, Ariz. and also in Clarkdale, Ariz. Tillie was always an industrious and independent person from selling magazine subscriptions as a child to having a beauty parlor for 30 years in Cottonwood, Ariz. In her life, she tried to do the best for all of her family.

She was married to Jose E. Redondo, the love of her life, on May 23, 1924. They were married until his death in 1994 for 70 years. They left the Verde Valley and moved to Phoenix in 1948. They lived on a small farm adjacent to the airport.

They retired to Cottonwood in 1974. They decided to move to Prescott where they remained until 1994. Tillie moved to Glendale as she got older and lived with her daughter and grandchildren.

Tillie is survived by her son, Alfred Joseph Ochoa Redondo and her daughter, Grace Redondo Wilson. She is survived by nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.

The rosary will be at the Westcott Mortuary, 1013 E. Mingus Avenue, Cottonwood, Ariz.

A graveside service will be at the Clarkdale Cemetery.

Arrangements can be sent to the Westcott Mortuary.
