MRS. RICHARD EVELYN BYRD of Winchester,
was Anne Harrison of "Brandon," daughter
of Benjamin and Evelyn Taylor Byrd Harrison.
Born in July, 1802. Married April 6, 1826.
Ann was only 11 years old when her
grandmother's will was wrote.
From Mary Willing Byrd's 1813 will:
Gave to my daughter Evelyn Taylor BYRD
HARRISON my Bible & New Testament & my
celleret with a green chair & agreeably
to her sister Ann's wish the portrait of
her Aunt Evelyn. I thank God she & her
children are well provided for.
