Essie Ann Tucker Clark, age 89 of Hardinsburg, died Sunday, June 15 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born of June 19, 1918 in Hancock Co., to the late James Otis Tucker and Birdie Cravens Tucker. She loved talking and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two stillborn daughters; and a son, Jim "J.J." Clark in 2001; two brothers; Ernest Tucker in 1992 and Alvy Tucker in 1990, two sisters; Bethel Frank in 1996 and Bessie Flener in 1978. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Raymond Thomas "Tom" Clark of Hardinsburg; her son: Thomas Eugene (Marcia) Clark of Brighton, CO. and his children and grandchildren: Mary and Mike Krajcirik and daughter Patricia of Aurora, CO; Hugh Clark and his daughters; Megan and Kelsey of Platte City, MO; Ray Clark of Thornton, CO; and Anna and Joseph Luciano and son, Jonah of Broomfield, CO; Jim's children are Alan and Tracy Clark and their children: Tyler and Allison of Morgantown; Ken Clark and daughter Kayla, Jamie Clark and children: Haylee and Robbie; one sister, Ethel Henderson of Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 19 at 11a.m. at St. Romuald Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Bickett officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation of Wednesday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home from 4-8 P.M. and after 8:30 A.M. Thursday. Trent-Dowell Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
