Mrs. Sara Ammerman, 86, well-known Curwensville woman, died Friday at 11:55 p.m. at her home there. She had suffered a stroke about a week ago.

Surviving are these children: Scott and Burt, both of Curwensville, Lon and Harry, both of Philipsburg; Clarence of Clearfield; Charles of Templeton; Mrs. Harry Rhodes and Mrs. Ed Ardary, Curwensville; and Mrs. Mary Webb, Houtzdale.

Funeral services will be held at the home Monday at 2 p.m. followed by services at the M. E. Church at 2:30. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
