Joseph E. Anen, 70, of Milford, Pa., passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, N.Y. He was a retired boiler mechanic for Kittatinny Regional High School, Newton, N.J., a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving his country from 1960 to 1966, and a member of the Marine Corps League, Tri State Gung Ho Detachment #909, Pike County, Pa.
The son of the late Eugene R. and Ethel (Deckenbach), Anen he was born Oct. 28, 1940, in Orange, N.J. He was married to Fredagwyn (Chechele) Anen, his beloved wife of 45 years.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Victoria Stasny and Kristina Pranski; and two granddaughters, Bailey Stasny and Charlene Jo Pranski.
Services and internment will be private at the convenience of the family in Delaware Cemetery, Dingmans Ferry, Pa.
