INDIANA, PA. — ALTIMUS – Doris Jane, 87, Indiana, Pa., formerly of Blairsville, Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Rose Manor, Indiana, Pa. Born Oct. 28, 1924, in West Wheatfield Township, Pa., daughter of William E. Altimus and Sara J. (Wakefield) Altimus. Member of Germany United Methodist Church. Doris was a former member of Eastern Star 166 and Blairsville Grange 2012, both of Blairsville, Pa. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Herman E., Charles H., W. Dale and William B. Altimus; and sisters, Vesta K. Stutzman and Anna Grace Hill. In keeping with Doris' wishes, there will be no visitation. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment, Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pa. James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Blairsville, Pa., is handling the arrangements
