Betty Lou (Scarcello) Crolley
Manly- Betty Lou Crolley, died Friday, June 15, 2001, at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In Betty's early years she was a beautician, interior decorator and operator of serveral restaurants in California. In later years, Betty enjoyed bingo, baking and crocheting. Betty was a very outgoing person who took in many needy people.
Betty was born in Buckeye on March 3, 1924, and spent her early childhood in Manly.
Betty is survived by a daughter, Maria Gaubtz and her husband James of Plymouth, one brother Del and his wife Mary Scarcello, of Pueblo, Colo. two sisters, Mary Linton and Minerva Cordell of Las Vegas, Nev, four grandchildren, Monica Haxton, Tina Gaubatz, Joseph Gaubatz and his wife Kim, and Nicole Gaubatz, eight great grandchildren, Erin and Kaitlyn Haxton, Heather, Justin and Bobbie Jo Brady, Grbreyl and Grayson Gaubatz, and Kyle Prahm, all of Mason City.
Betty was preceded in death by her father and mother, James Scarcello and Mable (Mishler) Scarcello, four brothers, John, James, Sam, and Francis Scarcello, and two sisters, Rose Farrell, Of Narco Calif, and Elizabeth Crosser of Iowa Falls.
Betty will be interred at a later dat in Rock Falls. A memorial Service is pending.
