DARIEN - Catherine Denmark Bailey, 86, died Aug. 15 at Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center of Brunswick. The Bulloch County native lived in Darien for 51 years. She attended Georgia Southern University and was a member of the Dorcas Society, Darien First Baptist Church and WMU.
SURVIVORS: a daughter, Cathy Bailey of Woodbine; a son, Bill Bailey of Pine Harbor; two brothers, John Denmark of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Jim Denmark of Statesboro; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL: 3 p.m. today at Darien First Baptist Church, burial in St. Andrews Cemetery, Darien. Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, Brunswick.
