Tracey Prue Anderson
Tracey Prue Anderson, 40, of Hubbard passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, at her home surrounded by loved ones and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, at First United Methodist Church in Hubbard with the Rev. Bill Hughes and the Rev. Jerry Irvin officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard.
Tracey was born June 25, 1964, in Fort Worth and lived most of her life in Hubbard where she was a member of First United Methodist Church. After graduating from Navarro College in Corsicana, she was a recruiter for the college for many years. She had numerous friends in the Mexia area where she taught CPR at the Mexia State School. Tracey and her husband, Keven, coached baseball, softball and basketball teams through the Hubbard Tris Speaker Youth Club.
Tracey's open heart and loving and caring personality and great sense of humor drew people to her like a magnet and she was compared to a ray of sunshine. She touched many lives and she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and the young people she helped coach over the years.
Tracey is survived by her husband, Keven Anderson of Hubbard; parents, Don and Barbara Prue; and grandmother, Mamie Vickery, all of Hubbard; sister, Debbie Coward of Irving; brother, Gary Huston of Fort Worth; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Jackie Anderson of Hubbard. Tracey's extended family included aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steve Dunlap, Bud Snapka, Russell Coker, Johnny Fulton, Danny Hanford, Charlie Pierce, Robert Fowler and David Howard.
The volunteer work that Tracey did with the youth club and Hubbard youngsters was very important to her. Donations in Tracey's memory may be made to the Tris Speaker Youth Club or First United Methodist Church, both of Hubbard.
Arrangements by Wade Funeral Home, Hubbard.
