Norman L. Bell was born September 21, 1938, in Mena, Arkansas, to Joseph Robert and Muriel (Norman) Bell. He died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at his home in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years. He was raised and educated in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and graduated with the Fort Smith High School Class of 1957.
He was a veteran of the armed forces and served honorably with the United States Army, fulfilling two tours of duty. He was married December 15, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, to Donna Sue Wieburg. They had made their home in Owasso since 1973. He spent much of his working life as a sales merchandiser with Food and Kehe Market.
He was a faithful member of Rejoice Church in Owasso and also the American Legion. Norman enjoyed a variety of pastimes including camping, fishing, and just about anything that involved being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Two brothers: Bobby Bell and his wife Joyce, of Texarkana, Texas
David Bell and his wife Debbie, of Kinsley, Kansas
Sister: Frances Harvey and her husband Earl, of Mena, Arkansas
He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren, and a brother, Dickie Bell.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Mowery Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Committal services and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso.
