"Dr. Harold C. Waddle, fifty-nine years old, a dentist who had practiced in St Joseph thirty years, died this morning at his home, 211 North Eighteenth street, following a prolonged illness.

Dr. Weddle was born in Buchanan County on Sept. 16, 1875, and was a son of the late Frederick Weddle. He graduated from the Kansas City Dental College in 1900 and came to St Joseph to begin his practice. He retired four years ago because of ill health. He was a member of the First English Lutheran Church and the Knights of Pythias.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian May Weddle, three daughters, Misses Bettie Lou, Margaret Frances and Fluta Ruth Weddle, all of St Joseph; a son, Harold F. Weddle of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Wally and Fred Weddle of Twin Falls, Idaho; and two sisters, Miss Ellen Weddle of St Joseph and Mrs. Charles Spalsbury of Oklahoma City."
